Keep In Touch!

High School goes by super fast. Almost too fast.

For all of you seniors out there, chances are, you’re realizing just how difficult it is to look forward to college and the life beyond at the same time as missing and saying goodbye to your friends. Everything is changing and it is terrifying. However, this doesn’t have to be an end.

That’s why, for today’s post, I decided to come up with a few ways that you can stay in touch with your family, friends, and basically everyone you don’t want to leave.

Music Playlist!

Music is such a timekeeper! If you and your loved ones keep a list of monthly music to share, it can be a great way to keep in touch while keeping those people with you through the tunes they share.

Weekly Updates!

It may become difficult to chat every single day, but by keeping a newsletter to send out by email every week, you can keep everyone in the loop with what you’re up to.

Social Media!

For a more instant approach, share photos and videos of your daily life and keep track of what your family and friends are up to.

Group Chat!

It may not be a face-to-face thing, but being able to have group conversations may even make it seem like you never said goodbye in the first place.

Phone Calls!

Have your loved ones hear your voice, and let yourself hear theirs. It’s a nice gesture and a great way to keep in touch more personally.

Hand-Written Letters!

I’m so old-school with this but I love the idea of handwritten letters! They add personality and that special meaningful charm that can be kept and chereished often. Plus, it’s always fun to recieve letters in the mail!

This one is for all of you internet people. Set up an online profile that you can dedicate to keeping track of your life’s adventures. Just remember to keep it safe and avoid too much personal information!

This may be for your own benefit, but keeping track of your thoughts is super important and totally helps with emotions and stress. A personal journal can hold so much meaning towards your life, and I highly reccomend it!

So, I know it’s still early, but I think that just having some kind of ideas in mind early on helps with this process. Definitely let me know if these ideas help you out.

Best of Luck!
